Your data, your control
Effective date: 2026-08-11
Life Visor (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Life Visor mobile application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play (the “App”) and the website lifevisorapp.com (together, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we process, why, and the rights you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Life Visor is a privacy-respecting time-tracking and wellness app. Your activity data lives on your device by default. When you use Luna, the data needed to generate your analysis is sent securely, for that purpose only, as described in section 2 below.
1. Data Controller
The data controller responsible for any personal data processed in connection with the Service is Life Visor. You can reach us at support@lifevisorapp.com.
2. Information We Process
2.1 Information stored on your device
When you use the App you create activities and sessions (names, colors, categories, start/end times). This information is stored in a local database on your device by default and is not accessible to anyone but you. Uninstalling the App permanently removes this data. If you use Luna, some of this information is also sent for analysis as described in section 2.2 below.
2.2 Information processed by Luna
Luna is an in-app assistant that analyzes your activities and sessions to generate insights and suggestions. When you ask Luna for an analysis, the relevant activity and session data for the period you request is transmitted securely (encrypted in transit via TLS) to Google LLC, via the paid tier of the Gemini API, solely to generate that analysis. We do not sell this data or share it with advertisers, and under Google's paid-tier terms, Google does not use your prompts or Luna's responses to train or improve its own products.
Data sent to Luna is retained only for as long as needed to provide the feature and to detect and prevent abuse or violations of Google's usage policies, and you can request its deletion at any time (see section 11). For details, see the Gemini API Additional Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.
2.3 Information processed by third-party processors
To enable Pro purchases and restore them across your devices, the App uses RevenueCat, Inc. (a service provider acting on our behalf). RevenueCat receives:
- An anonymous, randomly generated user identifier (App User ID).
- Your purchase receipts as issued by Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Basic device information (operating system, App version, device model, country, language).
RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, phone number, or any of your activity data. For details, see RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
2.4 Payments
All payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or store your payment method, card number, or billing address. Their respective privacy policies apply to those transactions.
2.5 Notifications and Live Activities
On Android, the App can send you local reminders while a session is running. These notifications are scheduled and delivered locally by your device's operating system; no data is transmitted to us. You can disable notifications at any time in your system settings.
On iOS, the App uses Live Activities to display your running session on the lock screen and Dynamic Island. Live Activities run locally and do not transmit any data outside your device.
2.6 Website
The website lifevisorapp.com is a static informational site hosted by a third-party provider. We do not use cookies, web analytics, or behavioral tracking on the website. Standard server access logs (IP address, request time, user agent) may be temporarily collected by the hosting provider for security and operational purposes.
3. Purposes and Legal Bases (GDPR)
For users located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, the following legal bases under Article 6 GDPR apply to the data described in section 2:
- Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — to validate purchases, provide Pro features, and generate Luna's analysis when you request it.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — to detect fraudulent purchases and maintain the integrity of the purchase system.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — to comply with tax, accounting and consumer-protection laws applicable to digital sales.
If the activities you choose to have Luna analyze relate to your health (for example, an activity you've labeled "therapy" or "exercise"), that information may qualify as a special category of data under Article 9 GDPR. In that case, submitting it to Luna is based on your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a)), which you give by choosing to request that analysis. You can withdraw this consent at any time by simply not using Luna for that data, or by requesting deletion under section 11.
4. Categories of Recipients
We share the limited information described in section 2 with:
- Google LLC (Gemini API) — to generate Luna's analysis, as described in section 2.2.
- RevenueCat, Inc. — purchase processing and entitlement management.
- Apple Inc. and Google LLC — payment processing, subscription management, and platform distribution.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with advertising networks, data brokers, or any other third parties.
5. International Data Transfers
RevenueCat, Apple and Google process data on servers located in the United States and other jurisdictions. Where personal data of users in the EEA, UK or Switzerland is transferred outside those regions, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
6. Data Retention
Your local activity data is retained on your device for as long as you keep the App installed. Uninstalling the App deletes it.
Data sent to Luna for analysis is retained only for as long as needed to provide the feature, and is deleted when no longer needed for that purpose or upon your deletion request.
Anonymous purchase records held by RevenueCat are retained for as long as required to maintain your entitlements and to comply with applicable tax and consumer-protection laws (typically up to 7 years).
7. Your Privacy Rights
7.1 All users
You can delete your local activity data at any time by simply uninstalling the App. To request deletion or export of data sent to Luna, or of anonymous purchase data linked to your installation, contact us at support@lifevisorapp.com and include your store account email so the request can be matched.
7.2 EEA, UK and Switzerland (GDPR / UK GDPR)
You have the right to: access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), object to processing (Art. 21), and withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7) without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. A list of EU/EEA authorities is available at edpb.europa.eu.
7.3 California (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have the right to: know what personal information we collect, the sources, purposes, and recipients; access and obtain a copy of that information; request deletion; request correction; opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information; and limit the use of sensitive personal information. You will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
We do not sell or share your personal information (as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA). Categories of personal information collected in the past 12 months are limited to: identifiers (anonymous user ID), commercial information (purchase records), internet or other electronic network activity (basic device information transmitted with purchase events), and, if you use Luna, the activity and session data you submit for analysis. If the activities you choose to have Luna analyze relate to your health or wellness (for example, an activity you've labeled "therapy" or "exercise"), that information may qualify as sensitive personal information under the CPRA. We only process it to generate the analysis you requested, we do not use it for any other purpose, and we do not use it to infer characteristics about you beyond that. To exercise your rights, contact support@lifevisorapp.com.
7.4 Brazil (LGPD)
Brazilian users have the rights set out in Article 18 of the LGPD, including confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization or deletion of unnecessary data, portability, information about sharing, and revocation of consent.
7.5 Other regions
If your jurisdiction provides additional rights (e.g. Canada PIPEDA, Australia Privacy Act, India DPDP Act), you may exercise them by contacting us. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
8. No Tracking
Life Visor does not track you across apps or websites. We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising networks, behavioral trackers, or device fingerprinting. We do not request the App Tracking Transparency permission on iOS, and we do not access your advertising identifier on Android.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service, including Luna, is not directed at children and requires users to be at least 13 years old, consistent with our Terms of Service. Users between 13 and the age of majority in their jurisdiction may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has used the Service or provided personal information to us, please contact support@lifevisorapp.com and we will delete the relevant data and take appropriate action.
10. Security
Because most activity data is stored locally on your device by default, its security is primarily protected by your device's operating system (sandboxing, full-disk encryption, screen lock). Data sent to Luna, RevenueCat, Apple, and Google is encrypted in transit using TLS. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work with reputable processors that follow industry-standard practices.
11. Data Deletion
To delete all activity data, simply uninstall the App. To request deletion of data sent to Luna for analysis, or of anonymous purchase data held by RevenueCat, email support@lifevisorapp.com from the email associated with your Apple ID or Google account so we can match the request. We will action verified deletion requests within 30 days.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices change or when required by law. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
13. Contact
For privacy-related questions, requests, or complaints, contact us at support@lifevisorapp.com. We are not currently required to appoint a Data Protection Officer, but the contact above serves as our designated privacy contact for all matters covered by this policy.
